Coach’s Corner - Andy Update

After an unexpected few days off, Coach Dean Goldfine joined his star pupil in Austin this week to prepare for Andy’s remaining US Open Series. Andy returned to his lakeside Texas home after developing soreness in his right knee after his grueling match against Robby Ginepri in the quarterfinals of the RCA Championships last week. Ar.Com spoke with Dean to get the latest on Andy’s status.

“Andy isn’t hitting yet, just focusing on getting physically ready for the rest of the series and working with his local trainer,” Dean explained. “The main focus is to gradually increase the intensity of training without aggravating any inflammation. Andy is in good spirits and looking forward to getting back into action.”
