Andy Takes On Okun

Andy will take on Israel’s Noam Okun Thursday in the third round of the RCA Championships. Okun upset fifteenth seed Xavier Malisse in straight sets to reach the third round.

This will be the first time Andy has played Okun. The match is scheduled on Stadium court, not before 7:00 PM. Hopefully Andy’s match will not be delayed by predicted midday thunderstorms in Indianapolis.

Okun turned pro in 1996, but has only entered three Grand Slam tournaments in his career, two in 2002 and most recently at this past Wimbledon where he lost to Gael Monfils in the first round. Here are some more stats on Noam Okun:
