Andy Roddick is hosting a concert in South Florida and five-time Grammy award winner Lionel Richie will be the guest performer.
The private concert will launch the Fifth Annual Andy Roddick Charity Weekend scheduled December 9-11th. Richie’s hits have sold in excess of 100 million albums worldwide. He is scheduled to perform on Friday, December 9th starting at 9 p.m. at the new, state-of-the-art Seminole Hard Rock Live. His hits have included perennial favorites “All Night Long”, “Three Times a Lady”, “Still”, “Brick House”, “Lady”, “Hello”, “Easy”, “Dancing on the Ceiling” and Academy Award-winning, “Say You, Say Me”.
Tickets will be limited and sold both individually and as a package and will be priced from $75 to $200 per seat and will be on sale starting July 25th. Platinum individual packages will be available for $2000 each person and include a VIP cocktail reception with Lionel Richie and Andy Roddick and premium VIP tickets for all three days at the Fifth Annual Andy Roddick Charity Weekend.
Andy Roddick is also hosting his annual celebrity dinner dance, auction and exhibition on December 10th and 11th at the Polo Club in Boca Raton Florida. The pro-celebrity exhibition presented by JM Family Enterprises will feature Andy Roddick and special guest, Andre Agassi. Other top celebrities currently scheduled to participate are tennis players, Aaron Krickstein, Sebastien Grosjean. Chris Evert, Brenda Schultz, Olympic Volleyball Player, Logan Tom and Olympic Gold Medalist and Figure Skater, Sarah Hughes.
The event concludes at 3:30 p.m. with a priceless chance to return Andy’s world record breaking serve. For all children under age 12, The Andy Roddick signature Kid’s Zone starts at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 11th. The festivities kick-off with a variety of tennis games sponsored by USA Tennis Florida. In addition, the Andy Roddick Kid’s Zone has expanded with music, raffles, sumo wrestling, rock climbing, a bounce house and other popular activities for children thanks to the support of MSE Events and the Pure Energy Entertainment Group.
The tennis festival is priced as follows: VIP Canopy End Zone Tickets are $150 each; VIP Tickets are $100 each; Reserved tickets are $50 each; General seating is $25 each. Children, under age twelve, receive a free gift and are just $5.00 each when accompanied by a paid adult. In addition, a chance to return Andy’s serve, the fastest serve in the world, can be purchased for $100 that includes three chances.
