No Compromise

“When I heard that Nike was making 5 million of them, I was a little skeptical,” said Lance Armstrong said about his yellow Livestrong bracelets. “I figured we’d be shooting them at each other for years.” As of today, the one-year anniversary of the Livestrong bands’ debut, 50 million have been sold.

From this yellow band of hope, Andy gained inspiration. He created the blue “No Compromise” bracelet that we all know. For those who have purchased these and declared their new “No Compromise” lifestyle through the contest in March and promises to themselves, you know the power these bracelets hold.

Andy’s power, besides his record-breaking serve and his killer forehand, is in his heart. His heart reaches out to help children in need, and that is exactly why he created these blue bracelets.

“Look at what happened to the Livestrong bracelets, they just took off,” Andy told Deco Drive, WSVN News. “If we can have one-hundredth of the success of those… it’s something that can help change the lives of so many kids.”

For those who have never ordered, ordered a few, or ordered a hundred, you can still get your hands on as many you as like. Whether the bracelets are intended to be given out to someone special or purchased solely to be a donation to the Andy Roddick Foundation, your actions are not going unappreciated. For every band that is sold, you have given a child in-need hope. Every dollar earned from the sale of the “No Compromise” bracelets goes directly to the Andy Roddick Foundation. In fact, every dollar earned from the sale of any item in the andyroddick.com pro shop goes directly to charity, an order straight from Andy.

The “No Compromise” bracelets have only been on sale since January of this year and only through andyroddick.com and there have been more than 7,000 orders. The minimum order is 5, but the largest order has been for 2,000 bands. An awesome display of support for Andy and the children he helps.

So keep ordering and let’s see what our one-year anniversary total will be!

Let’s make Andy proud!
