In his final clay court tournament before Rolland Garros, Andy enters the Master Series In Hamburg this week with a 7-1 record on the red surface.
The Master Series Hamburg presented by E. ON Hanse will pit 64 of the world’s best in a $1,870,000 Euro event. Andy did not compete in last year’s tournament during which Roger Federer took home the shield.
Andy joins Agassi, Coria, Gaudio, Haas, Hewitt, Nadal, Kuerten, Moya and Verdasco among others in an attempt to stop the world number one from a repeat victory.
Coming off a frustrating, yet inspirational third round loss at the Telecom Italia Masters last week, Andy is ready to improve on his clay record in preparation for the French Open.
