Fathers Are Good To Have Nearby

A recent Andy sighting on location in Houston found Andy entering his favorite Subway sandwich shop in need of a serious nutritional boost. As his sandwich was placed in front of him, he realized there was a problem. He was in the Subway while his wallet remained safely in his hotel room.

A dilemma…A sinking feeling…what to do??

Dial a familiar cell phone number and ask, “Dad, where are you?” It turns out the answer was just what Andy wanted to hear, “Five minutes away.”

Since Andy is somewhat recognizable, the store manager allowed Andy to sit and eat his sandwich until the required funds arrived. Right on queue, Jerry Roddick entered with a problem solving ten dollar bill, which Andy passed right over to the manager as thanks for his hospitality.
