Andy, playing in his first tournament since injuring his wrist at the Nasdaq 100 on March 22, took care of business today by defeating fellow American, Matias Boeker, (6-2 6-3) in the first round of the US Clay Court Championships in Houston, Texas.
In Round two, there should be power shots galore as Andy faces another American, Robby Ginepri. But first, there is an evening doubles match tonight (second on after 7:00 PM start) that will see four Americans toe to toe at the net - Andy and Tres Davis vs. James Blake and Mardy Fish.
